Seniors Coalition


The North Shore Services to Seniors Coalition has been operating since 1992 and is the planning table for issues facing seniors and services to seniors on the North Shore. There are currently over 50 member organizations that come together as the Coalition to meet, share ideas and inform each other on on-going projects and events.
The Services to Seniors Coalition meets at noon on the third Tuesday of every month from September to June except December.

Zahra from Vantage Point reported on the 2023 State of BC’s Non-Profit Sector Report. This annual report surveys hundreds of non-profits across the province to identify key opportunities and challenges facing local non-profits, and to advocate for the sector. Zahra also talked about a feasibility study carried out by Vantage Point on the potential for a provincial network for non-profits.
